What Is a Video Wall and How to Keep Every Screen Perfectly Synchronized

  Walk into a modern retail store, corporate lobby, airport, or shopping mall, and you’ll likely see large digital displays made up of multiple screens working together as one visual experience. This is known as a Video Wall . A Video Wall is a group of displays arranged to present content across multiple screens. It can be used to show one large image or video spanning all displays, or different content on each screen while maintaining a coordinated visual experience. The challenge is synchronization. When multiple displays are connected, even a small delay between screens can be noticeable. If one screen is a few seconds ahead or behind another, the visual impact is lost and the installation looks unprofessional. The Synchronization Challenge In many deployments, displays do not start at the same time.
